Great alternative to mince pies and so easy!
Jane’s Mincemeat Slices

Dry Ingredients Other ingredients
12oz plain flour ½ to 1 jar of good mincemeat
8oz butter 1 x Swiss roll tin, lightly greased (or flat square tin)
4oz caster sugar Icing Sugar
- Mix all dry ingredients together, and firmly pat half of the crumble mixture into the base of the tin.
- Then spread a thin layer of mincemeat, and then another layer of crumble mixture.
- Firmly pat to make a flat layer, then bake at 350°F/180 C for ½ hour.
- Allow to cool slightly, then cut into slices & dust with icing sugar |
