Lovingly placed by hand by our teapot casters, each of our Burleigh teapots has a little piece of clay in the spout, ensuring an elegant pour without any drips, this piece of clay is called a ‘Grid.’
This clever piece of clay allows the tea to pass through the spout in a much more controlled and evenly distributed way. It also stops your tea clogging up the spout and coming out through the lid and onto your table. A simple addition, adding elegance to your teatime rituals since 1851.
