Green Regal Peacock

Re-imagined in rich tonal green, the Green Regal Peacock collection is a contemporary update to a 1913 design. Presented to King George V and Queen Mary by Burgess & Leigh on their royal visit to The Potteries; a refreshed copper engraving was produced a century later. Every piece is handmade in Staffordshire. Layer with iconic Black or Blue Regal Peacock colours to elevate everyday dining and special occasions or try mixing with Green Asiatic Pheasants.

 

First introduced in 1913, our Regal Peacock design was presented to King George V and Queen Mary by Burgess and Leigh on their royal visit to the Potteries. A century later in 2013, a refreshed copper engraving was produced, restoring Regal Peacock’s rightful place in Burleigh’s range, and the pattern remains a firm favourite to this day.

Our Blue and Black Regal Peacock ranges have been adorning dinner tables for years. So, it is a fitting end to our 170th anniversary year to reimagine this iconic pattern in a deep, bottle green — a contemporary update to a time-honoured design.
