Delivery

Every piece of Burleigh ware is made by hand in our historic home at Middleport Pottery in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries.

Each item is usually individually made for each customer, therefore it is difficult to give precise delivery information. Generally it takes around 28 working days to manufacture each item. If you require an order for a specific date, please contact our consumer services team on 01773 740 740 or email consumer.services@burgessandleigh.co.uk

*We use traditional skills and techniques, the highest-quality raw materials and our dedicated team of craftspeople to create our classic and timeless tableware. The nature of our production process means that production cannot be rushed which is why you will see that some of our products are marked as ‘Made to Order’. We endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible, this will usually take up to 4 weeks.

Orders for Seconds and Discontinued products should usually reach you within 5 working days, however may take slightly longer (7-10 working days) during busier sale periods.

We ship all over the world (excluding Russia and Georgia) but international orders will take a little longer to arrive.

We cannot accept orders which are to be dispatched via freight forwarder.

We recently moved to using product weights to calculate the price of shipping. Please see tables below for more information. The price will be automatically calculated in your shopping basket once you enter the delivery address too. We use DHL to ship all orders.

Korean Deliveries

When shipping to Korea you will now be asked for a personal customs clearance code. This is a requirement made by The Korean Customs Service.

  • The PCCC comprises 12 digits starting with the alphabet letter P (e.g. P123123123123) and is issued by the KCS to those planning to ship personal goods into or out of Korea. It is tied to your identity and your home address
  • Korean citizens can generate a PCCC almost instantaneously via the designated website (https://p.customs.go.kr) – NB this is in the Korean language only - by quoting details of his/her Accredited Certificate. Alternatively they can obtain a PCCC within one to two business days by sending an email or fax to the main Customs Office of the Administrative District listed on the designated website.
  • Non-Koreans are permitted to quote their passport number in order to facilitate the clearance of their goods
